ABOUT :

Dr. Kishor Uprety is a senior legal professional and international lawyer with decades of experience in operations and development law. Dr. Uprety holds a doctorate in international law and has worked on the legal and operational aspects of development projects in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East while serving as senior Counsel in the World Bank’s Legal Department.  He is currently serving as a Senior Counsel in Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where he contributes to the legal aspects of infrastructure finance and operations. In addition he has authored and co-authored numerous books and articles on international law, development and Trans boundary water issues.
