UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day Event

The UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day academic series is an annual flagship event the UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RCAP) co-hosts with institutions of higher learning in the Asia-Pacific region to raise awareness of the work of UNCITRAL among policy makers, legal and policy experts, legal academicians, law students, and the public and private sectors and promote the progressive harmonization and modernization of international trade and commercial law via the use, adoption, and uniform interpretation of UNCITRAL texts throughout the region.

Together with UNCITRAL RCAP, Nepal International ADR Center – NIAC and Kathmandu University School of Law – KUSL are co-organizing Nepal’s inaugural UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day Celebration Event on “Understanding the UNCITRAL ADR Instruments in the Nepali Context”. The webinar will have speakers from UNCITRAL RCAP, Nepal and Australia.

UNCITRAL RCAP is the only regional centre of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. Established in Incheon City in 2012 with the support of the Republic of Korea, RCAP carries out UNCITRAL’s mandate in approximately 60 jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region by working with public and private stakeholders.
